Windows on Main Street is a collaborative project between artists and businesses — engaging residents and visitors alike through a public display of art along Beacon’s historic Main Street. The exhibit explores how art can provide cultural and social understanding, be
a catalyst for economic improvement in communities, and strengthen the relationship between residents and artists.

With 49 artists participating, Windows on Main Street 2011 has a powerful effect both as a whole and as individual displays, showcasing the artistic intentions of Beacon and the variety of local businesses actively showing their support. The exhibit will be on display from August 13 through September 10, 2011.
